Hug someone!

A 20 second hug can increase oxytocin; decreasing blood pressure, heart rate and cortisol levels. Cortisol, a stress response hormone, can lead to excess inflammation and fat deposits.

Eat more (raw) chocolate

Raw cacao is rich in heart protective antioxidants as well as “love chemicals” phenylethylamine and anandamine and “feel good” tryptophan (the precursor to serotonin). It is also a good source of magnesium, which helps to lower blood pressure and regulate heart rhythm.

Motivate yourself and your loved ones with a heart healthy menu full of anti-inflammatory omega 3s. How about grilled salmon and an arugula salad with toasted walnuts.
