Adhering to a strict nut-free policy can be stressful for parents looking for easy packable snacks. What do you mean I can’t send my kid with PB & J?! Fear not! The Big Carrot has you covered! We have a great selection of packable nut-free snacks. Here’s a list of safe products and a few snack ideas. For more kid friendly lunch ideas check out this post.

Designated Nut-Free Facility:

  • Organic Works bakery (gluten free and some vegan breads)

Most of these products are sweet treats. Sticking to homemade snacks is the healthiest nut-free strategy.  For example:

  • Hummus + veggies
  • Fruit + cheese
  • Sunbutter + banana roll up
  • Celery + cream cheese + raisins
  • Homemade muffin
  • Rice paper spring rolls
  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Pasta salad with lots of veg
  • Kale chips
  • Sea Snax (toasted seaweed)

There are of course lots of other products that naturally nut-free but may not be made in a nut-free facility.
