Balanced Energy Smoothie Bowl
Calming ashwagandha and energizing maca combine to make a delicious breakfast to start the day off with balanced energy.
1 ripe banana, frozen
1 scoop of vanilla or plain protein powder of choice
1 tsp ashwagandha powder
1 tsp maca powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 ice cubes
Stevia or a little bit of maple syrup to taste, optional
3 – 4 Tbsp filtered water, to thin
Toppings: Almond butter, cacao nibs [both pictured], dried coconut, goji berries, nuts/seeds, etc.
Place all ingredients, except for chosen toppings, into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Transfer to a bowl and decorate with choice of toppings. Enjoy immediately.
