BBQ Tofu with Sun Dried Tomato BBQ Sauce

BBQ Tofu with Sun Dried Tomato BBQ Sauce


80 gr sun dried tomatoes

1 tsp sesame oil

1 Tbsp ginger

1 tsp garlic

1 tsp hot sauce or chili flakes

2 – 454 gr packages of tofu

1 Tbsp sesame seeds

1 tsp pepper


Soak sun dried tomatoes in hot water for 5 minutes, reserve soaking liquid.

Add sun dried tomatoes to a food processor or blender adding a small amount of the reserved liquid if needed and puree until smooth.

Add sesame oil, grated ginger, garlic, chili flakes or hot sauce, sesame seeds and pepper.

Slice tofu into 1/2 inch slabs and marinate for 12 hours in BBQ sauce

Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side.
