Hawthorn is a sacred medicinal tree that symbolizes spring with early blooms and thorns like daggers. ⁠The leaves, blossoms and berries are harvested to help treat and prevent cardiovascular diseases and anxiety. The blossoms and leaves can be used in tea and are rich in bioflavonoids, antioxidants and tannins. Hawthorn is sold in capsules, tinctures, solid extract and tea. ⁠

Hawthorn Recipe: The Inspired Heart

Ingredients

1/4 tsp of Wise Woman hawthorn extract ( or 20 drops tincture of choice)
1 cup cashew or oat milk
1 tsp cacao
¼ tsp Harmonic arts reishi pwd
¼ teaspoon honey ( optional)

Method

Heat milk of choice. Add the hawthorn, reishi and honey. Blend and enjoy!
