Hot Detox Deep Green Dream
This recipe is super satisfying with its sweet, sour and salty taste. Healthy fats will kill your cravings on the Hot Detox, so enjoy this drink often. Of the green powders, spirulina is my favourite because it contains almost every vitamin and mineral.
1/2 ripe avocado (about 1/3 cup)
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1/4 cup organic lemon juice
2 Tbsp raw liquid honey or coconut nectar or 12–15 drops liquid stevia
1–2 tsp Hawaiian spirulina powder or 1 cup baby spinach
pinch of pink rock or gray sea salt
2 cups filtered water
1 tbsp collagen powder
1 tsp maca powder
1. Place all the ingredients in a blender, including the collagen and/or maca if using, and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
2. Adjust sweetness by adding more sweetener to taste.
Makes 3 cups. Will keep in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake well before using.
