Sugar-Free Cranberry Sauce
Sugar-Free Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh cranberries, rinsed
30-40 drops stevia liquid (to taste)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup water
1 tbsp ground chia seeds
Directions:
1. Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat and add the cranberries and water. The cranberries will burst and this should take about 8 minutes.
2. Remove from heat, and stir in the chia seeds and liquid stevia.
3. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl or mason jar.
4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes 2 cups. It can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
Total carbs per 2 tbsp = 2 grams of carbs compared with regular cranberry sauce = 13 grams.
